Building on the abilities and possibilities of the basis models, these models are offered with some considerable enhancements for professional application.
sceyeX 9120
our sceyeX is the most popular model, as it unites high scan quality with high automation. Through the high resolution of the sceyeX models (10 Megapixels), even small fonts are scanned with true detail. At the same time the best of every document is automatically retrieved through the intelligent filter and image-optimisation process. This is a particular strength of our sceye-PRIME Technology.
As with our basis model, the document is automatically recognized and automatically rotated and cropped by reference to the corners. No manual editing of the scan is necessary. The Pro software package offers even more.
Automation
Full batch scans are usually done only with ADF scanners. With sceye, this is achieved even with crumpled or stapled pages, alternating formats from small fuel receipts to A4 (or with sceyeX A3 respectively A3) sized documents. With our application sceye Autoscan this is done extremely fast and completely automatically. As soon as a new document is placed into the projected laser scanning area, sceye Autoscan automatically recognizes it and initiates the scan quickly, rotating the document straight and cropping it to the correct size. You lay the paper down and take it away. The scan is done. This way a large stack of documents can be scanned, even directly from the folder, and can be exported into a target location with one key stroke.
PDFplus
A special highlight of the Pro-package: when exporting, PDFplus is also available alongside TIF and PDF. At the same time the full text of the scanned pages is also recognized through OCR and imbedded into every PDF. This is perfect for later full text searches through Window search or Mac's Spotlight. The OCR is deeply integrated into the processing and runs discreetly in the background. New documents can be scanned even during processing.
sceyeX-A3 9125
Uncomplicated as accustomed and simple. With full usage of the 10 Megapixel resolution and a specially suited image optimization, the new sceyeX A3 makes scanning books, construction and building plans, maps, newspaper articles and other documents up to A3 size possible. All of this despite the small space requirement of a coffee cup!
Fast, faster, sceye
A3 scan in 1 second sets a world record! Independant of the document size, document capture is already completed after one second and you can continue turning pages. This also applies when scanning from the folder - even if the folder is quite filled. Compared to sceyeX (with 2 cm), the sceyeX A3 has a tolerance area of 12 cm. This allows the direct scanning from A4 folders, even when it is filled quite high.
Horizontal instead of vertical
One difference from the A4 sceye models, the sceyeX A3 scans in horizontal format. In the process as usual, the patented laser projection of the scanning area is projected onto the table. Especially with books, newspaper articles and double paged A4 forms, the advantages of this new orientation are apparent.
sceyeX only
The professional scanning of an A3 sized area requires the highest degree of sharpness. For this reason we are only offering our A3 option in connection with our high resolution 10 Megapixel models.
Comfort as usual
All comfort functions such as automatic scanning, automatic cropping and automatic straightening are of course also available for our new sceyeX A3. The performance features of the Pro-package are also included. Exportation to a searchable PDF (PDFplus) is also available along with the popular sceye Autoscan functionalities.
Book Mode
The special Book Mode exclusively developed for this model allows the capturing of double pages in one step. In the process, the respective left
and right hand pages of a book are captured in one single shot and automatically saves as two seperate pages of the same document. You have achieved
doubled performance in the same amount of time.
Furthermore, you can simply leave your fingers in the border area of the book pages and
flatten the pages without a problem. Finger images are removed like magic from the scanned pages.
